Just got to get that virtue signalling in.Not necessarily. Gay men are not sexually attracted to women. That doesn’t mean that they regard women as less equal human beings deserving of less respect or legal or societal protections. Obviously we all know that some gay men are sexist and/or misogynist. Their sexual preferences are independent of any sexist or misogynist attitudes they hold.
Someone may be only sexually attracted to members of a certain racial group but hold no feelings it attitudes that those belonging to those groups are in any way inferior or deserving of lesser rights and protections.
Or they can be not sexually attracted to members of a group because they regard that group as less than human or less deserving of equal rights and protections due to their race. That would be racist.
Plenty of men are sexually attracted to women while finding them undeserving or not needing equal rights and protections as men. That’s sexist and misogynist.
Some may prefer members of certain races because they see them as less deserving of equal rights and protections. That is racist.
Agreed.
And just to add it since you didn't, the same applies regardless of what race the person is and what race they are attracted to, and applies to women as well as to men.
I don't think what Toni said was virtue signalling. And all I did was note that what she said applies to everyone.
