George Zimmerman Arrested On Domestic Violence And Weapons Charge

And that's why I asked for which path that martin took or probably took. There are 4 or 5 paths that followed with all but one doubling back. And then for the one for not doubling back, we have to ask if that would be consistent with both testimonies.

Let's answer this one. Martin ran to the infamous T-Junction, turned the corner...and then stopped because...Urban Rule #1. Zimmerman ran down Twin Trees (Among the many things he lied about, where he parked), stopped when the dispatch told him to, and then resumed pursuit when he hung up, after telling the dispatch to have the police call him so he could describe where he was.

Ta-Dow!
What makes you think Zimmerman lied about where he parked? That would be an exceptionally stupid and unnecessary lie to tell, because the cops could expose it by just asking where his car is. What's he going to say then? "That's not where I parked it, it must have moved on its own?"

Also, if he was going down Twin Trees, why leave his truck at all?

Again, the police didn't notice his truck, and Zimmerman openly claimed that he had his wife come and move it.

But that would then mean that if the cops talked to his wife, she could contradict his story. Not to mention that if even one person remembers where the truck was, and talks to the police, his lie would be blown. That would make it a very strange lie to tell, and for what purpose?

You mean the case where the armed guy was following the guy in the Walmart store? Because that didn't happen, and isn't a good parallel.
So you think it's ok to ignore evidence and make up unsupported scenarios, because Zimmerman defenders are doing the same thing? That doesn't make any sense at all. When discussing what happened, the point is not to demonize or exonerate Zimmerman but to find a scenario that fits the evidence with least amount of additional assumptions (such as Zimmerman dropping his keys or running through buildings and trees in the dark or making up elaborate lies about his whereabouts knowing he might be discredited if even a single person happened to see him).

Occam's Razor.
It seems rather certain that Zimmerman lied about Martin ambushing him. Zimmerman didn't even testify at his trial which would carry a little water about his original story being a lie.
Very few cases just the defense recommend testifying at a trial even if they feel they are right.
In an open-shut self-defense case? He is the only witness! Hist testimony wins the case, unless you can't trust his testimony or his testimony would contradict public statements he made earlier.
I'd like to ask all these Zimmerman supporters: Would you be happy with your daughter entering into a domestic relationship with him?

And the answer is no, but I also wouldn't want my daughter dating Martin either. You can make the right judgement in one situation but be wrong in a lot of others.
I also wouldn't want my daughter dating Hitler... oh... oops. Sorry.

Martin was an immature kid. No, I would not want my daughter to date him. Zimmerman is an armed and immature adult with anger management problems, far more dangerous.

There is a peculiar personality defect which is found in a lot of people. The truth is never completely sufficient. They have a horrible fear of not being believed and always embellish the truth, sometimes to the point of complete fabrication. It's a pattern that colors every personal interaction, whether it is with family, friends, or stranger.

This was on a live call with 311 where he said his truck was parked at the cut-out. How would he have the foresight to know to lie about that?

The type of person I describe doesn't need foresight to lie about anything. They are habitual, or compulsive liars.

So even though he is trying to re-direct the police to him he's going to lie to them about where to meet him?

So now Zimmerman stayed put at his truck? This is just getting better all the time.

His story repeatedly contradicts his own phone call to the police. The claim that Martin circled his car was ridiculous, the claim that the dispatch asked him to move his car is blatantly false, etc. why bother pretending that he's a good liar, when he obviously isnt't?

Simple - he never said that his car was at the cut-out in his call. He simply said that it was on that street.

I didn't say that. The dispatcher asked where do you want me to meet you and he says my car is parked past the mail boxes on the left. He asks what is the address of the car and he says I don't know because it's parked on the street.

I don't know what motivates Zimmerman to say what he says or do what he does. We might ask one of the women who are afraid to be in the same house with him. They may have some insight into that sort of stuff.

Again, no. He describes Twin Trees Lane as a "cut-through", and it's plain that the reason he can't simply look and see the address he's parked by is because, when the dispatcher asked him, he had already jumped out of his car to run after Martin.

Huh? When he first gives an address he says, the close address I can give is the clubhouse and then says he's walking toward me and know is checking me out. And then the dispatcher asks where his car is and he says near the cutthrough. The cutthrough starts at the corner of the two streets which would be consistent with your statement that it's also that third street.

Ok, sure. But what evidence do you have that Zimmerman in particular would have lied about where he parked his car? And why would he have parked his car at all, if he was going dow the Twin Trees Lane? The scenario doesn't make any sense, and it requires additional assumption that Zimmerman is a pathological liar.

Occam's Razor strikes again.

But why would he jump out if he was going down Twin Trees Lane? Why not just drive?
