I was thinking of the 1500 currently deployed nuclear warheads, on hypersonic mirv ICBMs. No doubt the Russians will be refining their targets in continental USA as we speak. Added to that are the submarine 'doomsday' weapons, capable of rendering US coastal harbours and cities uninhabitable long term. The information on Russian strike supremacy is widely available, and up to date.

As a reasonable man, I would hope that it won't come to this, although American Evangelicals will likely have warmer ideas.:boom::wave2:

Russia closed off lines of communication regarding US/Russia military coordination. This means that coordinating with Russia will be harder, which increases the risk of an accident. I think this is a simple method of restricting American military action because at least some in the military recognize the danger of escalating anything with Russia via accidental losses of life among each others military.

The irony is that the Syrian people really don't come into the discussion here. Hundreds of thousands dead, but at the moment, the fear is Russian or American military casualties (though more likely Russian as the US don't have an expanded presence in Syria).

About that gas diffusion, I estimated the speed and it turns out that you were accidentally not wrong :) It's very slow, it would take hours for heavy gas to diffuse 1 meter. So basically yes, if there is absolutely no perturbation heavy gas can stay in low place for very long time. But it means that the slightest wind will blow it away fast. Also you are still wrong about dry ice, what you see is just a cold air with fog.

They are dead because US decided that Assad must be removed, because he is a bad hombre and Saudi Arabia and Al Qaeda are good hombre.

I think that retired US colonel could be exactly right. Assad bombed what he and russians thought was a storage with explosives expecting couple of bombs would be enough (witnesses on the ground confirmed that attack was pretty whimsical in terms of explosions), in reality some chemicals were stored there. Few people got poisoned and white helmets jumped into action and made it appear as a chemical attack, but they really are bad actors.

Source is SWEDHR, just because RT choose to publish it does not make source crap. Now, I have not heard about SWEDHR before, but what they say is consistent with what was said and shown before - White Helmet is a bunch of ridiculous fakers.

Do you deny that that there were no investigation whatsoever?

You seem to be complaining without even looking at the evidence in the link. :confused:

Unfortunately the "white helmets" won an Oscar recently ...and (almost) no one challenges the legitimacy of George Clooney and Hollywood. :).

If the "white helmets" really are a front for al Qaeda then how can they win an Oscar? The cognitive dissonance would be too much for a lot of people.
