Um...many members of antifa are perfectly fine with "individualism" (in fact, many are outright anarchists), "free speech" within obvious limits (no incitement, defamation, etc) "Free Markets" and "elections". And every self-described antifa person I know only support violence as a defensive act. Even in Charolettesville, the *only* reason they were there armed is because they had seen the very public discussions Nazi sites describing how the various white supremacists and nationalists intended to attack local residents and counterprotestors - which is exactly what they did in cases like Heather Heyer and DeAndre Harris, and an interfaith service the night prior to their Saturday rally during their tiki torch march, among many others. Had groups like the ACLU, the city council, and the police taken these public declarations of intent seriously, they could have simply denied the violent bigots a permit, that mess might never have happened.
And this has also held true for public "speakers" like Richard Spencer or that Milo guy, both of whom refused to discourage their own violent followers resulting in multiple shootings, and in Milo's case targeted specific students that had no involvement with him for bigoted harassment. Neither one of these two individuals should be permitted to speak on college campuses for this exact reason - and I'd argue that Milo is a white nationalist who should be barred from entering the US at all (along with Gavin McGinnis, who founded a violent street gang known as the "Proud Boys").
