Nah it's about me and my cock. But as for the student, he had a really bad protest that got him undeserved fame and money. He's already living on his own private island rolling in a pile of fresh money while the world argues about his dumbass sign. He knew what he was doing. Stating a choice and publicly promoting racist bigotry can be (and in this case were) part of the same action. He chose to be a white supremacist and to publicly express it. That is why he was suspended. The fact that he bases his sexual partners on his racist assumptions about blacks is tangential to his suspension. Note that he wasn't suspended after his comment about prior black sexual partners, but only after his posting a racial pride poster, which has no plausible motive other than white supremacy and provides context that makes it clear his prior sexual comment was also an expression of this hate-dogma.

We don't know the original offense. The offense that got him expelled was going on campus when he was not supposed to. This is an example of the matter of speech rather than the content, a standard tactic of the right. (Say people were punished for the content of their speech when it really was about the manner.)
