I don't think that: running away, lying prone on the ground, on their knees with their hands in the air, or a dozen other situations that are documented, are "trying to take a cop's weapon". But you go ahead and pick the one situation and apply that to everything. That's totally honest.Completely unarmed (but black) individuals are seen as a threat, and often killed by cops, and you defend that action. So what's the difference? Hrmm....I wonder...In that situation the rock is unlikely to be a lethal threat.
Completely unarmed individuals trying to take a cop's weapon are a lethal threat.
I realize you will say anything to justify views. This https://www.timesofisrael.com/palestinian-teen-suspected-of-throwing-rocks-shot-by-idf-near-ramallah/ proves your claim wrong. You realize the ones that get shot are doing things like dropping big concrete blocks on soldiers?
According to your many posts, the police are justified in killing anyone who is reasonable threat to their lives. We all know that a rock can be a lethal weapon. So why are you now saying this woman was not a reasonable threat?
Your response is a perfect example. This teenager was not dropping concrete blocks onto soldiers - the teenage was not dropping concrete blocks. He was doing nothing of the kind.I realize you will say anything to justify views. Once again, a failure to understand how the situations differ.

It is insane to hold the unarmed victims with objects that the police mistake for weapons responsible for their killings.I don't think that: running away, lying prone on the ground, on their knees with their hands in the air, or a dozen other situations that are documented, are "trying to take a cop's weapon". Most of the "unarmed" (note that this includes those with fake weapons and those with objects that are mistaken for weapons) people who got shot are very much responsible for getting shot.

Not if they are in plain view nor when they are not pretending they are weapons. It is insane to hold the unarmed victims with objects that the police mistake for weapons responsible for their killings. Most of the "unarmed" (note that this includes those with fake weapons and those with objects that are mistaken for weapons) people who got shot are very much responsible for getting shot.
When they are pretending the items are real weapons it's quite reasonable to hold them responsible.
I think its clear that there is a bias against black people, especially in the USA, that they are more often seen as threats.
I also think its clear that there is a bias against men (as opposed to women), and they are more often seen as threats.
Now put a black man and white woman in contrast? Yeah. You've got a double bias at work there. Hardly news, is it?

More than enough of them and they are easy to find on the internet. Here are but a few examples found by Googling unarmed man shot by police:Not if they are in plain view nor when they are not pretending they are weapons. When they are pretending the items are real weapons it's quite reasonable to hold them responsible.
But how many cases are like that??

Most aren't, according to you. And I'm sure you've checked. You always do.
Irrelevant to your claim. In other words, don't make sudden movements towards a place of concealment when cops have guns pointed at you.
Irrelevant to your claim.A gun was found nearby.
Note - irrelevant to your claim,.Note that the officer was charged.
Irrelevant to your claim.Arrested for murder.
Claiming you have a weapon is not a simulated weapon (i.e. something that exists). So utterly one-sided that the article is useless. Looking for the truth I find it was a suicide by cop in which he claimed he had a bomb. Thus, a simulated weapon.
He had nothing in his hand, so your observation is ridiculous. He fled from the cops then wouldn't show his hand after he crashed. Sounds like a simulated weapon to me.
