Who takes that claptrap seriously?
I would assume anyone with at least a partially working brain who took the time to read at least some or most of the information. I read some of it this morning.
it goes into a lot of detail as to how we humans have made a very negative impact on the different aspects of our planet, not just climate, but the pollution of the oceans, the deforestation, and many other things. I seriously doubt that you read much of it. A reply would include a detailed response as to why you think the mess we humans have made isn't anything to be concerned about.
In some ways, these scientists are optimists because the report says that we still have time to try and reverse the mess we have made. I'm not so sure of that as humans don't like changing their habits and it would take a massive, collective move by governments to put us on a better path towards protecting our environment and reducing the impact of climate change. Still, I like that they haven't given up hope. Between what we've done to our planet and the lack of regulation of AI,
it's hard or me to think we're not doomed at some point in the not too distant future.
