George Zimmerman Arrested On Domestic Violence And Weapons Charge

Is pot smoking legal in florida? Especially for 17 year olds? I don't think there were any crimes, but I do believe the ingredients he bought that night weren't for his brother.

And what crime was committed? What crime was he being followed for?

he was being followed for a suspicion of trespassing, loitering, drug use.

That's pretty good.

What exactly would it look like if on that night he was in a place where he had a perfect right to be, walking between two places he had a perfect right to be, and not using any illegal drugs?

What would Zimmerman have seen if all of those conditions were met?

Fair enough let's assume that. Then why didn't Zimmerman use the standard, "Can I help you?" or "What's up?" when approaching him? Why di Zimmerman refuse to identify himself? I mean he did have training and had been in/witnessed enough confrontations to know this is how you confront suspicious activity.

In the rain at night it would have been straight walking on the paths back from the store. It's a judgement call from all the parties involved.

This would have been after martin running and Zimmerman getting surprised from someone out of the dark and the first thing you would want him to say would be that? Though what are you doing here would be the same type of question?

No, I am asking you why Zimmerman did not follow normal procedures that most people, including myself, use when confronting a suspicious situation.
I also want to know why Zimmerman refused to identify himself. He had time before the fight to do so.

So, we have only the word of a man who faced a murder charge to describe the suspicious behavior of his victim, and according to you, all Martin had to do to save his own life, is walk in a straight line.

Do you really believe that?

He would have seen Trayvon.

That depends very much on the time that was given to Zimmerman before the fight. Are you saying that they talked for a few minutes?

Maybe people from your part of the world have ingested too much lead and talk slowly, but it would take less than two seconds to do this. Although, granted he had already called the police and would lose face from the nature of the call.

A normal confrontation would go like this:

Martin: "Why are you following me?"
Zimmerman: "I'm the neighborhood watch. What's up?"
Martin: "Oh, I am on my way to my girlfriend's house."
Zimmerman, "Ahhh, Okay. Does she live here?"

So why didn't Zimmerman identify himself or his intentions?

It should have gone that way and on most occasion that's what will happen. Except Zimmerman said Martin's first question was "Do you have a problem" and then gets punched.

That was on the call to 311 before the murder charge. So you have two places of behavior that possibly if changed would have met a safe outcome. I can't say on the place where Z first say Martin and prompted the call. That would have been for police officers to talk to both. The second one, would be what martin did after seeing Z in the car. If he assumed it was somebody in the neighborhood just checking and he walked straight home with no running then he makes it home too.

Really? You must have video. Please post it.

I said that is what Zimmerman said Martin said. We have two versions of what happened and nobody knows.

Don't we have two or three versions, each are Zimmerman's?

What did he say on the walk through video. We have the police statement where he said Do you have a problem. We also have Jeantel's version of Why are you following me

Is there any scenario where Zimmerman does not follow Martin? Martin's suspicious behavior existed only in Zimmerman's mind. It there was any suspicious behavior, it was Zimmerman's.

If Zimmerman were an armed robber, who was pursuing a person in the dark with the intention of robbing them at gun point, what would have been different?

We also have a statement from one of the neighbors who heard a brief heated discussion right before the fight, and Jeantel's testimony that Martin loudly asked Zimmerman why he was following him and Zimmerman loudly responded with the question "What are you doing here?". The preponderance of evidence indicates Zimmerman had time and opportunity to identify himself as part of the Neighborhood Watch.

I'd still like to know what crime Martin committed that night, and how Zimmerman could possibly have known about it, because from where I sit it looks like Martin was just a teenager walking home and talking on his cell phone.

Alternately, you're simply assuming that since Martin was an unarmed black teen he must be innocent.

We see this every time a black gets shot--plenty of people determined the cops were wrong no matter what the facts are.
Martin was innocent. But to address you Moore-Coulter, my first assumptions about this case was both of them were verbally aggressive to each other that night when they first met. Two dumb guys posturing to one another with macho dominance games. However Zimmerman's total history of behavior both past and future now suggests that he was the sole instigator and aggressor that night. And none of your silly accusations against Martin have persuaded me.

In fact your wild conspiracy theories have only served to show how innocent Martin was. Since your best "evidence" of Martin's guilt is speculative innuendo including cover-ups by different law enforcement agencies that have no plausible reason to help a non-politically connected black teenage male.

When someone throws a lot of mud at the wall, I'm not the type to notice what parts of the wall mud stuck to. I simply notice that the accuser is throwing lots of mud.
