Well... it's Trump... again. #47, here we go.

"Wages for workers are rising at the fastest pace in over 60 years. Since I took office, wages for the typical factory worker are up $1,300, construction workers' pay is up $2,200, and miners are up nearly $5,000 this year alone." - @POTUS

Yeah? The dollars those suckers are earning are worth 13% less than they were when Cheato took office less than ten months ago.
The dollar's drop in 2025 was the worst first-half performance since 1973 and, for half-year declines, only matched by second half of 1991. At least Bush had 9/11 to blame. The current debacle is ALL Trump.
A $50k/yr Construction worker making $2200 more than last year, has lost over $5000 in Purchasing power.
But they believe what they’re told about being better off, suckers that they are.

Except … maybe they’re starting to get “woke”, if Tuesday was any indicator.

Trump is so crazy. Now he’s saying that prices are much lower since he’s been elected.
My favorite crazy of the week was when he said he was much better looking than Mamdani a few days ago. I guess he never looks in a mirror or better yet, he is just as delusional as my former patient who thought she was a 35 year old queen instead of a 79 year old poverty stricken woman in long term care. At least she was harmless.

If wages were really going up across board that much, you know what happens? Inflation.

I have not checked the numbers but I would not put it past them to define "since I took office" as Jan 20, 2017...

The thing is that construction and factory workers, and miners know the extent to which Ms Leavitt’s statements are valid or not.

Facts don't lie. One American has seen his wealth go up by THREE BILLION USD just since Trump's second term began. His wife will make about $28 MILLION for her life story, from Amazon. This is the land of opportunity, and if you're not amassing wealth like this couple, well, that's on you. These people aren't geniuses -- they're barely literate. She can't pronounce 'book' and he's never read one.
It can be done!! You just have to go out and grab it, not sit on your hands and moan about the price of eggs.

The sleepy would not be so bad if he weren’t a demented sociopath surrounded by monsters and sycophants with the Heritage Foundation effectively running the government.

Ok. So I just saw a business article that said American retailers expect the first TRILLION DOLLAR holiday shopping season this year. I did the math, but correct me if I’m wrong. They expect every single American citizen to spend an average of $3000 for Christmas this year? When we can’t afford healthcare or groceries? Are they truly this out of touch with the current reality? Is this satire?

I think they’re counting on a lot of Russian oligarchs to come spend some of the money Trump funneled to them. It adds up fast when they’re gifting each other jumbo jets and mega yachts.
