It smells wonderful. Sniffing it delights all the senses. When you drink it, though, it goes down rough. So Why even drink the stuff at all? Pour it into a glass, then sniff it 15-20 minutes, then pour it back into the bottle. If you want, have a small taste of it, then swill it around it your mouth. A good bottle should last several months or so.

I resumed drinking several months ago. It’s a genuine habit now, at least 5 days a week. The habit consists of a single swallow of E&J (cheap) brandy nightly. A bottle (750ml) lasts almost exactly 2 months. Seems to help falling asleep.
