Tesla, not very green

I think it is an artifact of symbolic American Freedom. The automobile. Especially people that grew up in the 50's... but pretty much even to this day... The car is a symbol of personal freedom. Cars are not merely transportation devices... they are symbols of freedom, masculinity, wealth, and power.

In the USA we allow women to drive, and cars are popular with them too.

are you suggesting that a women has no business dealing with traditionally "masculine" objects?? why would you say that?

Wow, I can't believe it worked! I finally bit the bullet and decided to fight fire with fire... and the lack of reply to this seems to indicate it worked.. like a charm.

Dismal attempted to "change the narrative" on me by taking one of several characterizations I made of what the car represents to Americans, and then extended that description (masculine) to imply "cannot be not-masculine".. and further extended that to mean "women aren't allowed to drive"... and then seemed to put the ball in the "Malintent says cars are for men only" court. Well, instead of calling foul, I just lobbed it back into his court... that says, "Dismal thinks that girls should just play with dolls".. because he is the one that even went there. I think I may have aced him on this one.
