Scott Pruitt has resigned, but....

...he has already done enormous damage. I wonder who the Orange Nazi will replace him with, and how much worse they will be.

I was on another forum for a while and they had to ban the word nazi because liberals applied to anyone that disagreed with them and to any one that voted for Trump or supported him. IMO, I think people should stop feeding off the media because they have proven themselves to be untrustworthy in every respect. As far as the OP, what enormous damage has been done? As bad as this?

So your point is that Obama's EPA was doing things inefficiently, and that there are better ways to poison ALL the rivers at once? Got it. Because we all know one mistake is just as bad as deliberately doing something on a global scale.

I think you should stop feeding off whatever toxic flow you're feeding off.

People called you Nazi just because you have been behaving like Nazis? That's so unfair! Don't those mean libtards know that conservatives are special snowflakes that must never be criticized no matter what they do?

Why are those libtards so mean?

No...much worse than that.
I think the word "accidentally" tells you all you need to know there.
And Nazi is what trumpo, the Assaulter-in-Chief is.

Whereas, the verminous pruitt, sock-puppet of the Cheeto Benito, deliberately and with malice aforethought, removed the protection against that accident becoming a normal way of disposing of mine effluent. It's hard to see how you could have picked a worse example, but you did it. Remember this?

I don't even have to talk about pruitt's scandals, just his hatred for our planet....What about the following small sampling from

https://www.sierraclub.org/compass/2017/09/scott-pruitt-s-terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad-year

What’s Pruitt screwing up you ask? Let’s count the ways.

1. PRUITT ENDANGERED FIRST RESPONDERS IN HOUSTON BY DELAYING A TOXICS DISCLOSURE SAFEGUARD

Harvey’s destruction and flooding caused the Arkema chemical manufacturing and storage facility outside of Houston to explode and burst into flames. Fifteen sheriff's deputies were taken to the hospital for inhaling the irritants and a mandatory evacuation is in place for all residents living within 1.5 miles of the chemical plant in southeast Texas.”

Remarkably, Pruitt falsely claimed that there were "no concentrations of concern for toxic materials" from the plant. Clearly, Pruitt was trying to cover up the fact that he had endangered first responders by delaying a safeguard that could have required greater disclosure of the types of hazardous chemicals at sites like Arkema. EPA’s Risk Management Plan rule was specifically designed to protect first responders and help them in responses to these types of disasters.

2. PRUITT IS CLOSING AN EPA LAB IN HOUSTON THAT’S CRUCIAL FOR RECOVERY

The Houston Chronicle reported that Pruitt is set to close EPA’s Region 6 Environmental Services Laboratory. The majority of the lab’s work has been concentrated on the dozens of Superfund sites in the region, 13 of which flooded and released toxic chemicals when Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston. The lab has doubled in an important role as a staging area for EPA staff. The closure is slated for 2020, far earlier than when the recovery from Hurricane Harvey is expected to conclude.

As Texas communities are trying to assess the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey and figure out a way forward as we rebuild, Scott Pruitt is trying to close down the offices that help evaluate risk and protect them by testing water and soil samples. Later reports indicate that Pruitt may be feeling the heat of public exposure and may be considering keeping the facility open.

3. PRUITT IS FAILING TO INFORM THE PUBLIC OF UNLIMITED POLLUTION HE’S PERMITTING IN HARVEY-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES

The Texas Tribune reports, meanwhile, that Scott Pruitt’s EPA is refusing to publicly share the levels of Benzene pollution throughout the region affected by Hurricane Harvey, while his agency continues to waive environmental safeguards. There are 449 chemical and toxic facilities and refineries in the 25 counties most affected by the hurricane, and residents have personally smelled and detected dangerous concentrations of the pollutant. Put differently, Pruitt is putting people who have just lost their homes and loved ones in even greater harm while refusing to tell them what dangers they face. In the wake of Harvey, Donald Trump promised the people of Texas he was with them. Pruitt is making it clear that was just more pollution dumped in their air.

Or what about this?

Classic deflection and lie. I never said that.

It looks like the deflection and lie came from you, because what you posted as a rebuttal to pruitt's list of planetary hate-crimes is a single incident of an accident. At the very least, you tried false equivalency, a classic Logical Fallacy used by those who either don't know what they're talking about, or have a very weak position/argument.

So your point is that Obama's EPA was doing things inefficiently, and that there are better ways to poison ALL the rivers at once? Got it. Because we all know one mistake is just as bad as deliberately doing something on a global scale.

So what's your point? That rivers are going to get poisoned even if the EPA does its job? Or that it is a GOOD thing to destroy our heritage parks and wildlands so large extraction Corporations can profit? Or maybe that it's okay for lobbyists to give admin officials sweetheart deals on rent? Soundproof booths are a national security asset? Big fancy dining sets make bureaucracy more efficient?
WHAT?

Deflection? I’m sorry, was my assertion that Pruitt was tasked with removing environmental protection too subtle for you? Try this: Pruitt, 45, and Co. would foul everything as long as they or their cronies can make a buck from it.

He defunded the Chesapeake Bay program because big agricultural interests back in his home state didn't like the precedent that it was setting with regard to regulating nutrient pollution. His change on the "waters of the united states" rule is pretty terrible. I could go on.

With regard to your link. Botched cleanup of a long standing problem that was created by the fact that hard rock mining has never been properly regulated and the fact that hard rock mining operations always leave the tax payer with the responsibility to clean up its messes. Those operations go in and extract the ore and create huge toxic piles of waste. When the claim plays out they go bankrupt, emerge under a new name, and then leave the state or fed government to clean up the mess. Maybe you can show us how Pruitt or Trump was going to drain that part of the swamp? Seriously, show us how Trump Pruitt were addressing mine clean up. Pruitt's policy on that was top notch dontchaknow youbetyah.

Is that the best you can do? Well, let me give you a taste of what the Trump administration has managed to do so far. Of course, it will be awhile before we all start breathing dirty air again and drinking nasty water, but we're on the way.

All told, the Trump administration’s environmental rollbacks could lead to at least 80,000 extra deaths per decade and cause respiratory problems for more than one million people, according to a recent analysis conducted by researchers from Harvard University. That number, however, is likely to be “a major underestimate of the global public health impact,” said Francesca Dominici, a professor of biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health.
