The Jimi Hendrix of the shovel.

This feels like it could be a Ronco commercial straight out of the 1970's:

Redneck #1: "It's a guitar!"

Redneck #2: "No, its a shovel!

Ron Popeil (stepping into the scene): "It's both! It's the new Ronco Spade Guitar! You can dig sewer trenches all day with it and when 5 o'clock rolls around, add the string attachment to enjoy musical hoedown fun while the carp that you caught with your Pocket Fisherman are are cookin' on the grill. Only $29.99! Hurry now, as time is runnning out. The next 10 callers will get a free $5 off coupon for our Whopper Choppers."

That brought back a really stupid memory. :)

No, but I did think the Pocket Fisherman was kinda' a good idea, for about a minute.

Ditto. In fact more than once I have been by places and regretted not following through and stashing a Pocket Fisherman in the car… but I just … can’t, with the cheesy ads.

Agreed. Can you imagine the humiliation if you bumped into an experienced fly fisherman, while you were out in the woods with your Pocket Fisherman? I don't think I would ever recover from that myself.
