Immigration Issues

Mother of 8 charges sexual abuse by ICE—she was deported very next day.

Agent engaged in "severe sexual harassment" and demanded "sexual favors."

After her story aired on television Thursday night—she was deported on Friday morning.

ICE ignored a judge's emergency order of temporary stay of removal—and she was illegally deported.

Lawsuit charges the ICE agent with saying things like, "If you're good to me, I'll be good to you."

Reyna Mendoza is the mother of 8 children—all U.S. citizens—living in Sacramento, California.

Considering that they think Vonnegut and Atwood novels are “how too” manuals to bring about utopian futures; I doubt it.

By far the most disturbing ICE video I’ve seen from Evanston, IL today.

An ICE agent points his gun at unarmed citizens. Twice. Then, he goes around the SUV, drops to his knees, and presses his full weight onto a man’s back. Moments later, that same man’s head is beaten into the pavement while the agent holds his head down.

When they finally pull him up, his face is swollen and dazed… clearly concussed… and then they slam his head into the SUV and pin it there with their shoulder.

You can’t watch this and call it law enforcement. This is excessive force and criminal assault.

I was tried in court for a false charge after ICE manhandled me — but jurors saw through the DOJ

And there I was in court last month being tried — and quickly acquitted by a jury of my peers — on the false charge that I’d “forcefully pushed” an FBI agent’s hand against a cement wall and “caused lacerations.” All I’d done that night in July was stand outside the D.C. jail so the families of the men being detained for possible deportation would know what had happened to them. I wanted those men and their families to be treated fairly in this unjust time we are living in.
