Oh that, it's only conventional.
I don't get it. Where is the funny part?

The basis of all humor is in victimization. It's an interrupted defense mechanism where we appreciate that we survived, or were unharmed, when someone else got eaten. The first joke was probably along the lines of shouting 'Butterfingers!' at the guy who fell out of the tree and got lionized.
But the choice of victim is crucial to humor. The pompous banker gets a pie in the face, that's comedy. The little girl in a wheelchair gets hit with a slapstick, that's just cruel.
So, the more a 'victim' can be seen to deserve the results, the funnier it is.
These people can be reasonably expected to have heard all about the expert medical opinions on C19, it's consequences, and the best practices to avoid those consequences, for themselves and for those around them. They personally made the conscious choice to ignore expertise in favor of whatever bullshit ideology they prefer, and will be a super-spreader event, some percentage of them quite literally killing themselves for a chance to indulge in excesses that would still be available later if they adopted max safe practices now.
So, it's pretty much the same joke as the angry homeowner stepping on the rake he left in the yard. But fatal.

So what Zipr is saying is "ha ha these people are going to die and I think that is funny"?

Thet're killing themselves. For beer and complementary vices. And they have NO ONE to blame but themselves.
And that's fucking hilarious.
Yes, that is indeed the salient detail of my correction of your attempt to summarize my position.No. That's not what Zipr or I said.

I see. "These people are going to die and I think that's fucking hilarious." I shouldn't have used the word "funny".
I shouldn't have used the word "funny".
I shouldn't have used the word "funny".
Right. Why say it when it could have been inferred from the fact that it's in "Images that make you laugh" within the "Freethought Humor" sub-forum.

Meanwhile at the future Victims of President Trump Memorial High School....Right.
So, say instead he had that pic from the Georgia School?

Then a caption like, "Looks like my kid has a good chance of making the Varsity team next season. He hasn't gotten any more athletic, but they're going to have lots of openings."
That's a completely different joke. Just dark humor, as these kids are going to suffer for decisions other people made. Governor, mayor, school board, principal...
