How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

And this is becasue Ukraine/US/EU attacked Russia.
Really? When did this happen?
Recently. You even made a post about it.
Probably it was just a rejection of your stated stupidity.
More like confirmation of your stupidity.
I mean how stupid one has to be to attack Russian ships in Black Sea and expect Russia doing nothing in response.... after 3 years.
Defensive action for the war you started.
Nope, offensive and illegal actions in the war YOU started.

That's not what he said. he said "подсвинок" (podsvinok)="under swine" like a "teenage swine"
We all know who the main swine here is.
And of course I am reading from the script - US neocon scripts.

EU has run out of russians to sanction and started to sanction its own citizens for expressing opinions different from the official one. Yes, I know Switzerland is not part of EU but still.

Words can mean whatever you want them to mean, right?

I hear that the Baltic states -- three NATO members -- are considering the destruction of their 5-foot gauge railroads! They had standard 56.5-inch gauge tracks before becoming part of the Soviet empire, and are laying 56.5-inch tracks today, but most of their infrastructure still uses Soviet gauge. Russia uses these old railroads as the primary supply line to its enclave in Kaliningrad, an enclave which might play an important role in a NATO-Russia military conflict.

The Russian trains passing though NATO territory are carefully controlled.
Doors and windows are sealed – to prevent Russians jumping off and escaping, Vilnius says.
The toilets are only open for use while the train is speeding along, not when it stops.

I am posting in part out of curiosity -- is this story widely known? (Raise your hand if you knew about it.)

The Baltic states say they will announce a decision in early 2026. Is it really plausible that they will tear up a majority of their train tracks? (Not just closing the borders, but physically and irrevocably destroying the railways so there's nothing for Soviet military to seize.)

Yeah, I read about it a while ago; It was part of a longer article about Estonian border defences, which they have been beefing up for some time.

They don't need to tear much up; Just replace the sleepers with shorter ones and shift the rails across. It's a big job, but not on the scale of the original construction - embankments, cuttings, tunnels and bridges can all remain unaltered.

The Russians have plenty of manpower; It doesn't take long for a military engineering corps with unlimited labour to build a railroad, particularly if the hard work of embanking, tunnelling and cutting has mostly already been done. So nothing is irrevocable. Tunnels and bridges can be sabotaged, but building bridges rapidly (even while under fire) is something of a military engineering speciality.

I am not an international law expert but that would an act of war I think, considering that these nazis expressed their desire to block access to Kalinigrad from the sea. I mean if they try to shutdown access completely then it is "welcome back to Russia" for Vilnius and no article 5 would apply. So US would quietly inform these idiots to not do that.
By the way, I have some relatives in Lithuania. It would be nice to visit them finally. Have never been there.

Having said that, Latvia and Lithuania destroyed some railways but between each other in the past.

By the way, EU did not agree on the question of stealing Russian assets and voted to use their own money to fund Kiev Regime in the next year. Bunch of countries beside Hungary and Slovakia voted against theft:
Italy, Bulgaria, Malta, and the Czech Republic voted against. Fucking Czech Republic voted against!

Meanwhile Kiev Regime attacked oil tanker in ..... Mediterranean Sea.
Also Elensky is threatening to assassinate ...... Trump. His latest speech can be interpreted that way.

Why do you continue to whine about this? Your country attacked Ukraine. They need money and resources to defend themselves. What's the problem with using frozen Russian assets to do this? I see no sign that your country is going to end its imperialism anytime soon. 3.5 years of war. How are preserving the frozen russian rubles forever benefitting anyone?

And your countries attacked Turkie oil tankers in the black sea. Your point?
Why would we attack their oil tanker? let alone in the black sea.
We attacked turkish cargo ship in Odessa Port. It was loaded with generators and possibly with British sea drones.

Your point? So they were cargo ships, not oil tankers. It's a war. You attack Ukraine. They fight back. If you don't like Ukraine attacking your tankers in the Mediterranean, stop attacking Ukraine! It's not rocket science.
