Suppose for a moment there is a significant disparity between how they are raised, and suppose further that as a consequence of that, blacks have a far higher chance of acting badly when stopped at traffic stops. From that, we cannot (or at least we should not) therefore conclude that an officers poor decisions are justified.

I don't have a history of that here. Well, I guess I do now, lol, but that wasn't my objective. If more are behaving badly (and threw in a hypothesis), it could explain the results we see.

Wait, what? I haven't the foggiest clue if racist views is the true underlying cause for the extreme disparity between why more blacks than whites get the raw end of the stick more often than not. Others apparently seems quite solidified in their opinions on the matter. What I constantly hear around here is an extremely negative view of whites. I'm white. I decided to thrown in a fairy tale hypothesis of my own to explain why the hell it is whites don't always feel the brunt of all the pains blacks seem to get when stopped by the police. It was more a backlash towards yet another dig at white people.

I live in an area where there are more blacks than a little bit, and we don't have all these damn problems. Not that a few don't have a racist thing to say once in a while: more like gentleman racists. We all get along until they do something black, then the whites AND blacks call em black--and yeah, "oh hell yeah, you know his ass is white" when a white does something crazy. There's just no blatent hard core racist bullshit: just cuttin' fool once in a while by both whites and blacks. There's probably very (very) few hard core racists left (on both sides).

I just see some of these crazy clips you guys manage to dig up: almost always of black people acting up.

If you don't have evidence that the hypothesis can be tested (in this instance of an hypothesis) then wouldn't that imply that you don't have evidence? In this instance (your particular hypothesis) you would need data and to follow it through with analysis. Do you have the data? Is it one of the factors that does not allow you to test your hypothesis?

If you don't have evidence that the hypothesis can be tested (in this instance of an hypothesis) then wouldn't that imply that you don't have evidence? In this instance (your particular hypothesis) you would need data and to follow it through with analysis. Do you have the data? Is it one of the factors that does not allow you to test your hypothesis?

He was proposing some possibilities for discussion purposes, not saying it was definitely true or that he personally believed in it. This is the type of racism card bullshit that attempts to shut down debate. To even discuss the possibility of differences in culture contributing to some of the disparity between whites and blacks get's the racism accusation thrown around. Discussion of certain topics is therefore taboo. Not very free thinking, in my opinion.

Show any reason why there could be substance inthst hypotesis and then we can discuss it. As it was stated it was pure bullshit.
