Comet

What time are you going outside to get these good views? I've gotten up at different times of the night and see nothing.

My best view was on Oct 13th, when it was basically centered between Venus and Arcturus. My photo above was taken at 7:40PM PDT. It will be higher in the sky now, and thus seen for longer after sunset, but it will continue to fade in brightness. If you can get to a dark site after sunset and look West it still may be visible.
Spotted it 20 minutes ago! Very faint, but I could just make out the tail if I didn't look straight at it. Woohoo!

I have done nothing but strike out on these things! Too cloudy early. And now too dim in the urban backwash. I did get it on camera... poorly. So I did see it. Kind of.
