Charlottesville: video evidence that the alt-right attacked first

LD,

In the middle of a discussion about Antifa and the Alt-Right, you suddenly develop a weird fixation on the Libertarian Party position on abortion.

Why? And why this thread? Why not in a thread that is actually relevant?

Tell you what, if you can find a way to successfully tie it to the topic, it will become worth addressing.
As usual, you address a minor point in order to evade providing actual evidence to support your claim of fact about what the members of antifa believe. Just for a change, how about you actually substantiate a claim of fact? Even after more than a day, you still have not even linked to the alleged interviews of alleged antifa members who are allegedly substantiating your claims about their beliefs.

Cut ahead to the 14:50 mark. Now what is your sudden strange obsession with the LP position on abortion?

Oh, and just in case...

In any case, if you are a Neo-Nazi, you are by definition attempting to incite violence. There is no situation where a Neo-Nazi is for rational, civil discourse.

So ... suppose you go into the local burger joint. You want to buy a cheeseburger. You go in and you see a "Nazi" in the line there to buy a hamburger.

Is he inciting violence?

Considering there are like 300 of them it seems like good ol' democratic elections would work too.

Are they running for something?

Mmm... they're typically not that fit. I don't think they ever do a lot of running. I think they mostly sit in a sofa and drink beer whining about the state of the world. The only exercise they get is when they beat their wife because she doesn't understand him.

Someone goes to a burger joint wearing recognizable Nazi regalia? Yeah, I'd say he was hoping for violence. Even trawling for it. I'd expect there's a truck full of his buddies waiting to rush in after someone else 'starts something.'
That, or a slightly smaller chance his lawyer's standing two people behind him in line, ready to sue when they refuse service.

But I expect the violent over-response to be more likely...

Maybe I misworded it. By definition, if you're a Neo-Nazi, then you want to incite violence. Violence is inherently a part of their ideology.

Genesis,

Yes, but at that moment is he inciting violence just for having the same beliefs as Neo-Nazis?

Keith,

I wasn't picturing one in full Nazi regalia. Suppose it was someone you do positively know as a Neo-Nazi, but at this moment he is wearing blue jeans and a tee-shirt that says "I'm only here for the beer"?

All,

And then there's this story. Man stabbed after haircut gets him mistaken for a neo-Nazi. It was this story that made me put quotes around the word "Nazi" in my supposition.

No, I wouldn't say he's inciting violence if he's merely ordering a cheeseburger. But I would still say that he wants to incite violence at every possible opportunity.

Actually his t-shirt would say "I'm only here for the beer hall putsch."

Finally, a link with some evidence hidden beneath the bloviations of some self-important twitish commentator confusing his "beliefs" with reality. But, at least, it is evidence.

As usual I provide.

Now perhaps you can tell us why, in this particular thread, you were suddenly fixated on the libertarian position on abortion.

Not only is it unusual, but your "evidence" is almost completely useless with the interjected babble by that moronic bloviator.

I asked a simple question to make a point. Not only are you unable to substantiate your answers to that question, you persist in prolonging something you declared is a derail. The only person fixated on that issue in this thread is you.

But I did provide it, which is what I do.
LOL. It took more than a day, and it is only an interview of one person despite your claim to have more than one.
It's not my fault if you can't stand having commentary provided alongside the evidence.
You provided an interview that is interrupted with moronic vitriol. Did you realize that the title of your video applied to the commentary?

One should always double check things when sourcing the NY Post.

Well this otherwise productive thread has now been LD'd. Pity.

:laughing-smiley-014

Yup. That seems to be LDs MO... if he can't make a cogent argument then he argues irrelevances.
I realize that asking for arguments about reality to be based on facts and asking for claims of facts places an unfair burden on libertarians and many conservatives, but it is hardly an "irrelevance".
