Um, how many Egyptians do you actually know? I used to work with a fair number of Egyptians whose skin tones ranged from lighter than mine (I am a mixture of Welsh/English/Scottish/French/German) to quite dark.
Do you think that a high level of melanin is inversely proportional to intelligence? Can you explain to me just how that would work.
It's pretty obvious Half-life wants to say whites are superior without being accused of being a white supremacist. These people like to call themselves "race realists". This isn't intended to be derogatory, I just don't see what other conclusion you can draw from his assertions.
They couldn't develop electricity, the internet, television, etc.
Race realism would say the Asians are superior because they have the highest IQ's. They don't view education as "being white" the way blacks do.

It's the same as for dogs, sheep, horses, cattle and virtually all other animals, except backwards. What happens is the DNA goes into what is called 'genetic reverse gear'. Exactly why is not known, but among the relevant scientists it's called The Human Stickshift Problem. The good news is that it's reversible by modern medical science. See: Michael Jackson.

All joking aside, and in the interests of rational discussion, it is my understanding that at least some of the racial differences in intelligence may indeed be due to genetics. I don't think anyone really knows yet. It seems to be incredibly complicated. And even if (if) some trait (eg intelligence in this case) could be traced back to genes, at least to some extent (if the genetic component of whatever relative size could be isolated in other words) the genetic processes involved will be interplaying from birth (and possibly before) and more importantly will have been interplaying in historical/ancestral terms, with environmental factors, in a way that is so intricately braided together it is very difficult to untangle, with the latter sometimes amplifying and sometimes inhibiting the expression and transmission of the trait.
It may not have anything to do with melanin at all, of course. But melanin is only one characteristic of variance between what are called races (which I believe becomes a very fuzzy term under close analysis).
In a nutshell, it seems reasonable and plausible to say that genes play a part. How big a part I don't think anyone knows.
That is my layman's understanding, informed by googling and talking briefly to daughter who has a Masters in Biology.
This hereditary/genetic intelligence thing deserves a separate discussion perhaps, so I'll start a new thread.

Your understanding is incorrect. First of all, there is only one race that we all belong to, so it fails from the outset. In regard to any differences on a genetic level, they could only ever be familial and not from another species. So far as I know, humans cannot successfully mate with any other race of creatures on this planet.

I go by the facts. I don't arbitrarily love a large group of people like the left does. The left says things like, "Let Muslims come in willy nilly!" I ask, "What type of Muslims are we letting in?"

We just go by the facts, you and I both.
But seriously, it was irony. Those I called your white ancestors in the mud huts were probably approximately as intelligent as the Egyptians, and if there were differences it probably wasn’t because of skin colour. For the most part, there were probably other factors, many, many of them, just as there always have been and are.
