I'd feel the exact same way, and studies agree with their concerns, so I don't blame them.

My point is that gun control people are being faulted for not supporting #BLM. But these are two different issues with different priorities. #BLMers hate police so of course they are against more police presence, even if it makes their school safer.

They are victims of anti-police propaganda that goes all the way from Black Panthers of the 60s through gangsta rappers of the 90s ("fuck the police") all the way to #BLM of today.

I dunno which is more adorable, the idea that this began in the 1960s with the Black Panthers, the idea that black kids are especially subject to this sort of indoctrination rather than drawing on their own experiences, or the continued total misread of what BLM is about.

...Well, okay, none of them are adorable at all really, but...
