He was born to play Chet in Weird Science. Seriously, he was barely more than a side character who was only in a few scenes, but he kinda stole that movie. Who knew the hilariously douchey big brother character could be so iconic.

Funny. I remember reading in a magazine that the script for "Twister" was first sent to Tom Hanks. He passed and gave the script to Bill Paxton (they were making Apollo 13 at the time), saying something to the effect, "This is more your type of movie."

Hmmm, I lost my mom during a heart procedure. They had to stop her heart to do the procedure and the left side of her heart failed to restart.
