The idea of human beings as a commodity is beginning to find a home in you. People are to use up till they get "old," when their creative capacities are at their best. It is peculiar the idea that old people should just die and get out of the way of the up and coming new wave of people who also will end up being old. Maybe we need to stop persecuting people and running them all over the planet to feed some sort of people eating economic system. We need to learn how to live without massive growth. We need to learn to respect each other first and foremost. That is what is being lost with all the fear mongering.

I see a lot of misreading of the reasons this exodus is occurring. It involves white people fucking with them in their own lands and them in turn running for their lives. Just look at the carnage the European nations have heaped on the middle east. The European nations with their colonization have been responsible for the lack of democracy in the middle east, Africa, The far east, etc. They have kept these nations from developing for the sake of extractive industries. The propped up the dictators and when the dictators get overthrown, they arm the opposition to keep the place in turmoil till they can get back to exploiting the resources again. European nations' actions are as predictable as the seasons. It is obvious that when these nations fall out of European orbit, they fall into a vacuum of power where the most inhumane things occur. So why are these muslims going to Europe? Hopefully to get lost in the secular life in these countries, to make more money, to be happier and to keep their heads on their shoulders. It really is no mystery why they are leaving their "home"land.

True to form I see. Blame every single act of barbarism or conflict on Western nations. Never mind that moslems have been slaughtering moslems long before there was a Western cultured Europe, let alone an America.

OK, so we have one guy, who apparently wasn't even elected but an organiser for the council election, say "tonight we're going to show them that we're united". Which may be a poor choice of word (the other people present in the video seemed to believe so almost unequivocally, if you actually watch it you'll see quite a few shaking heads and people interrupting him), but carries very different undertones from the selective quote "tonight we're going to show them".

If you have to mash up that badly what people are saying before you can make it a reason to worry, you don't have a reason to worry.

There isn't going to be Sharia law in Europe. Your ignorant fears have no place in a supposedly rational debate. Europe is projected to have around a 10% Islamic population by 2050; Even in the VERY unlikely scenario were every one of those Muslims wanted Sharia Law, in no European nation can 10% of the population force the introduction of laws opposed by the other 90%.

There are Muslim Arbitration tribunals in Britain; These are NOT Courts of Law, and operate under Section 1 of the Arbitration Act which states that: “the parties should be free to agree how their disputes are resolved, subject only to such safeguards as are necessary in the public interest”. As such they operate within the framework of English law and do not constitute a separate Islamic legal system. Under the Act they are deemed to be "arbitration tribunals".
