It is understood that on the Android platform, a lot of your apps are free because the app developer is collecting your private info and selling it to marketers. The maker of AI.type had this information stored in a database, which had no password protection, meaning that anyone could access the data. This makes one wonder if the freebie business model of the Android ecosystem is really worth it.
