As a scientist, I tell children I meet that tomatoes are a fruit. But as a close friend to many people who practice the art of culinary cuisine, (They like to cook new recipes sometimes) I am happy to accept the dual classification of tomatoes as scientific fruits and culinary vegetables.

Pumpkins are fruit too, and Strawberries technically aren't fruit. Scientifically.
Also, here in Korea, Cherry tomatoes are a staple on Whipped Cream Fruit Cakes the most popular cakes you can buy in bakeries.
