My opinion doesn't matter one iota. I'm just stating a fact. Postal, or absentee voting, sometimes accounts for up to 20% of total voting here in AU, and it generally favours a sitting member. But voting here is compulsory. Otherwise a small fine of around $20-40 is issued for failing to vote unless one has a valid reason why he/she failed to vote.
With COVID-19 running rampant in the US, postal voting is very likely the only alternative to many US voters come November.
There is a lot to disprove/debunk/argue here so let's break it apart piece by piece:
My opinion doesn't matter one iota
Then why are you constantly talking about it? I am currently fucking someone who has family in the US and that is why I have a vested interest in their elections, but why you are so passionate is fucking beyond me.
Excellent. Normally you just copy and paste wall of text, throw "clever insults" at US politicians who have the temerity of disagreeing with you or just post random links and simply fuck off without clarification. I look forward to the facts you are about to provide.
Postal, or absentee voting, sometimes accounts for up to 20% of total voting here in AU, and it generally favours a sitting member.
*sigh*
1. Australia is not America.
2. Not only did you not provide and facts about the US Presidential Process, you didn't provide any facts about Australia. All you have is an opinion. Just so you know, it isn't worth much.
But voting here is compulsory.
Yes, I know. We'll get back to that.
Otherwise a small fine of around $20-40 is issued for failing to vote unless one has a valid reason why he/she failed to vote.
It's $55. Outside your margin for error.
And when you vote in Australia, you don't vote who is Prime Minister
And you don't vote for who is Head of State of Australia either. You might want to stick with what you are best at; which is telling a bunch of Americans how their Electoral College System works. You're an expert, apparently.
With COVID-19 running rampant in the US, postal voting is very likely the only alternative to many US voters come November.
This is probably the most accurate thing you have posted...well...ever, but clearly you expect people to be outraged by this. And we've touched on this subject
before. Basically, your argument doesn't have a leg to stand on. Give more people the ability to make their vote matter, and more people are going to vote. If more people are given the opportunity to vote, then the Republican Party is going to be extinct. Even you are more leftist than Bernie Sanders as was proven
here.
And yet you are still going to be upset about this, and make derogatory remarks about "Groper Joe" without ever showing some balls and having an opinion yourself. My question is why? Or is it simply monkey ======> shit =======> fan?
