So, Trump was whining about the Federalist Society, because the highly partisan justices they told Trump to nominate having rubber stamped Trump's actions. Now Acting Attorney General Pam Bondi (I mean acting as in the verb, not adjective) is shitting on the American Bar Association... as being an activist organization. For a while the ABA has provided generalized ratings on judges based on their perceived competency, not politics. With the Trump Admin desperate for rubber stampers like Cannon, they need to really reinvent the wheel on who should be allowed to have permanent judicial appointments. Because the ABA isn't just going to roll over for him.

This is a continuing trend of anything that is questioning Trump having to be radicalism is nothing shy of authoritarianism trying to normalize itself. A Federal Court that manages US trade, told Trump he was illegally enacting tariffs. The GOP questioned the veracity of a court being able to question Trump.
article said:
You mean a federal judge has intervened with the other two branches’ ability to make policy? I’m shocked. … I think it’s pretty clear he has tariff authority,” he said in an interview with Fox News.
This despite the court panel consisting of one Reagan, Obama, and TRUMP appointee each. That'd be 2 to 1 in favor of the GOP.

This is slippery slope crap, as it is everywhere. Trump is told he can't just throw people out of the country without Due Process... more of the 'courts have no authority' crap. And with Pam Bondi talking about ignoring the ABA, this Administration is looking to end any checks and balances and do whatever they want.
