With a background in elementary education focusing on classroom teaching, Special Education and Self-Contained gifted classrooms I was always on the lookout for resources to address higher order thinking skills. This new book is excellent for facilitating creative and critical thought in kids. Check out the trailer for the book:



This book is great for read-aloud with younger kids, independent reading novel around gr. 3 and up, and literature circles among groups of kids.

Now available on Amazon are three separate books created entirely by IIDB content providers. The first, Where Did Everything Come From? is an illustrated book of philosophy aimed at children. Three IIDB members created it. Below is a promo video.

The third is called Pantheon Volume III, the final work in a graphic-novel trilogy about a team of renegade gods, let by an immortal mortal, on a crusade to destroy god worship across the cosmos. The co-authors are IIDB members, the artist is an IIDB member, and the publisher is too. I’ll link up a video to that, too, as soon as it gets up on YouTube.
