Has anyone else seen this DVD? It's a film of Quinn's 2010 one-man show, but I didn't know of it until I picked it up as a rental a few weeks ago. I've since bought a copy and have watched it again. It's Quinn riffing on a number of observational topics, some of them fairly mainstream in stand-up, but with a framework covering the big historical empires/eras, starting with cave people and then going to ancient Greece...he even has a section on the Holy Roman Empire, which might be a first in comic monologues. I laughed out loud quite a few times. (The commentary track is also a treat -- it's Quinn and his collaborator, Jerry Seinfeld, who directed for the stage, talking in wide comic circles around the show.)
(From the Greek section of the show: "Turns out the examined life isn't so fascinating, either.")
