So, Trump said this:
As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America.
And as I have said many times before: No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God. We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry, and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.
Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.
You consider that
support for neo-nazis?
That's his prepared
Monday statement, which he walked back on
Tuesday. That's the issue, that's what people are upset about.
You can be so tedious.
But why would someone who supports Neo-nazis say that that
ever?
Another Dismalization. No one is arguing that Trump supports KKK/Nazis. His aim is to not provide aid and comfort to people who didn't vote for him. He sees condemning the RW marchers as dancing to a Democrat tune, and
he'd rather see his Presidency go down in flames than submit to that.
On Saturday and Tuesday he avoided condemning political philosophies of segregation and violence. That's the point. His prepared Monday statement, read off a teleprompter and likely not written by him, he then refused, on Tuesday, to reinforce. In the process undermining his own press conference bleating about infrastructure. Again, his demons prevent him from advancing
his own agenda.
The job of President is partially ceremonial. So you say your little kumbyas or whatever, and get on with business. But Trump is too mentally around the corner for that.
I suggest taking a look at the tweets/statements of the rest of the GOP leadership. They at least know how to keep their priorities straight.
It's hard to see these posts of yours as anything other than game playing. If you seriously believe Trump is acting responsibly, I suggest you keep your day job and stay out of politics.
