Atheist are inteligent ?

Ah... a Syed thread. I don't think I've seen one of these in a while.

English isn't my second language, so I'll not ...
Also I won't...
how about concentrating on everything Syed sees either convinces him that atheists are wrong or that everyone will some day be muslim?

EVERY thing.

Makes for a rather boring Magic Muslim 8 ball...

This, yes this. Personally, I get the distinct impression of someone raised in a very Islamic and sheltered environment, that has one, perhaps two authoritative Islamic sources he uses to make his arguments. At times, he doesn't even understand the arguments he himself is making. The majority of the time he does not understand or refuses to understand views which contradict these sources.

If I were to guess, based on his posts over the years, I would surmise he's not here to argue or debate, but only to prop up his own self worth, and he does this with Islam since that is what provides him with an identity as a good person. Personally, I find this dangerous. I could easily see someone coming along that is clever and charismatic and sway Syed to some sort of destructive or self destructive behavior. I don't sense a lot of anger in him, to his credit, but I sense a deep pride about being a Muslim.

I gave up trying to have any kind of substantial conversation with him years ago, and usually just view his posts as my chance to toss up some funny pictures.

He has been indoctrinated.

People he trusts told him that he has to believe certain things or else he will be tortured forever.

He was probably raised by parents who believe and surrounded by a community of believers, all of whom constantly reinforced these truth claims to such an extent that he can't even conceive of questioning any of the things he was raised to believe.

The indoctrination process involves an incredible amount of emotional manipulation. It takes a lot of time and effort to overcome that kind of psychological programming.
