"The U.S. Army is kicking out a decorated Green Beret after an 11-year Special Forces career, after he got in trouble for shoving an Afghan police commander accused of raping a boy and beating up his mother when she reported the incident.

The case of Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland now has the attention of Congress, with Rep. Duncan Hunter writing to Defense Secretary Ash Carter challenging the decision. " - Fox News article

What? What in the actual fuck.

There are consequences to our actions. Reminds me of millionaires losing countless dollars for upsetting the insensibility of others--the excessive suffering beyond that of the act, kind of like losing a long and successful career in the wake of shoving someone.

Appeasement at work.

The soldiers are supposed to ignore such rapes because we want to get along with the guys doing them. This mandated blindness has been going on for some time now. The soldier was kicked out for disobeying orders.

So you understand how it works... And do you approve? That is the problem with being a soldier in the first place. It really always boils down to being a hired killer and someone who is blind to rape, murder, and mayhem. When these carefully constructed blindnesses break down it is time to give the soldier the boot.

Where do you get the idea that I approve? I simply explained what happened.
