Hi. I know this is a low effort post (sorry for that) but as most of you may already know, I'm not the brightest member on the forum. As such I ask for some leniency. With that said here's my question. What has the All Lives Matter movement done? More specifically what have they done to improve the lives of Americans? Are there any specific lives (aka people) they've organized in support of and (whether or not succeed) are there any legislation they've pushed in an effort to change things? I made an honest effort over the course of a year to find something and neither Google, Bing nor my local representatives (in Florida) was able to offer solid answers.

I've checked the wiki page. I understand how wiki works and how it's not dependable however it doesn't seem to show much of anything regarding actual people All Lives Matter stood up for. I mean, they have a lot of lives to stand up for since they aren't limited to one race (as the Black Lives Matter movement is perceived to be for obvious reason). So genuinely, what specific people matter to the All lives matter movement? I'm expecting a large number of people being named across all walks of life and races.

Sincerely me,

The all lives matter movement has done exactly two things to improve all lives: Jack, and shit.

Glad I could help.

They don't care about all lives, they only want to counter the message that black lives matter.

Sincerely me,

All lives matter only exists to take steam out of the Black lives matter movement. The all lives matter movement might as well be called, "black lives don't matter".

The timing is important. The fact that it turned up now as a response to black lives matter, means that it is a reaction against BLM.

BLM has lost my sympathy at this point. It's a movement that seems to be all rage and without a goal. But so is the all lives matter movement. It's worse. It's so petty and mean.

It's like those people who, in discussions about domestic abuse pipe up that men also are victims of domestic abuse. They could have started that discussion at any time. But the timing means that it exists as a counter point.

Funny. But I agree. ALM is a group that contains some people who don't understand BLM and some who do but are outright bigots. I have nothing to say to bigots. But I do agree with Dr. Zoidberg that elements of BLM are tarnishing the movement. I support BLM. But the growing violence and intolerance is hurting the group:

The above scene was ugly.

I agree with the above, except that I have not lost sympathy for BLM*. I still agree with their goals and their energy.

ALM is a reactive movement whose sole purpose is to undermine the message of BLM and stand in the way of progress to equality.
It has no humane achievements to its name.

(*Some people have behaved badly at BLM protests. It is not clear they are BLMers. Some BLMers have behaved badly - I sympathize with their frustration and feelings of despair that nothing has changed and the social contract has never treated them with honesty. I wouldn’t do the same (despair leading to lashing out), but that’s a symptom of my privilege, not their duty.)

ALM is as much a movement as right-wingers whining about "PC" is a movement. It was a reactionary Twitter call to inertia and indifference that mocked concern regarding violence.

Not a movement. I see it as nothing more than a slogan. An expected response born of ignorance of how black people have to live their lives every day. Of often, feeling unwelcome and at worst, feeling threatened.

ALM is a group that contains some people who don't understand BLM and some who do but are outright bigots.

I believe that the latter group have been the founders and main actors of the ALM meme. The former, i.e. the easily entertained and clueless ones are, almost by definition, ignorants who were dragged along,
The mechanism of that dragging can be credited to another sector - probably the largest ALM contingent, and one that you didn't mention: propaganda factories.
As a juicy divisive issue, ALM has been pushed by Russian trolls and 'bots almost as energetically as they have fueled Q-Anon and Biden "scandals".

the punchline is simple: "all lives matter" is morally the same as saying "all buildings matter" in response to 9/11.

Threatened by who?

Police. In many major cities, black people are more likely to be stopped, driving and as pedestrians, more likely to be searched, and less likely to be found with contraband in their possession.

Arguments like this make me wonder whether or not abortion should be mandatory and just give the fucking dolphins a chance of running the planet.

I wonder what dolphins argue about.

So it's safe to say I'm not the only one that couldn't find a person the ALL LIVES MATTER movement protested in support of.

I wonder what dolphins argue about.

Probably it's about whether it was wise of them to forego legginess and cede the landmasses to the apes. Some likely argue that they should have made the oceans an exclusion zone when they did that.

I just hope they aren't ruled by some dumbbell legend about a dolphin savior, some sort of half fish, half mammal super-being that was gaffed from a charter boat but was then resurrected as a divine ragout.
But they seem to have so much fun chattering and coursing gracefully through the water that I doubt if they take the time to make up religious foo-foo. If a dolphin wearing a golden gaff on a chain ever turns up, then I'm dead wrong.
