IMO at the time and now: yes. Some of the stuff he said was crazy—minor league compared with what is going on now but not tethered to reality. The family did not announce the diagnosis until some years after he left office. I’m fairly certain than any of his cabinet still living ( is anyone? I put them as far out of my mind as possible) would deny it. Possibly his kids as well. But the announced diagnosis was met with a big ‘no shit’ from me.
