The Cold Blooded Murder Of Renee Good

I don't condone her murder, but
That's one word too many. The rest is pure propaganda to downplay the simple fact that she was exercising her right to free assembly and protest, and was shot dead while doing so, by a government agent who the President is now protecting from any legal consequences.

It matters not one whit if this was her first protest, or her nine thousand seven hundred and sixty first. Nor does it matter one iota whether she was known to ICE or not.

They killed her, in contravention of the law. She was murdered. Her killer is known. He should be tried, and (given the overwhelming evidence of his guilt) convicted, and jailed for a very long time.

There is no "but...".

I don't condone her murder, but she may have been known to ICE as an activist. Ice Watch. This may not have been her first rodeo.
So what? Being an activist is not illegal or even frowned upon except by goose stepping fascists.

I’ve been to more than one protest. I’ve marched on Washington DC ( Trump’s first term).

Ice are the ones committing crimes.
I'm saying she was probably known by ICE. And Ross knew he could get away with "neutralizing" her.

I think that’s bullshit.

The ICE agent’s cellphone video: Five key moments

As the vehicle moves forward, Ross is standing near the front driver’s side corner of the vehicle. Someone yells, “Whoa.”
Ross’s camera pans skyward but does not fall to the ground.

One shot can be heard, then two more can be heard in rapid succession. Ross appears to refocus his camera on the SUV almost immediately, before it crashes nearby. A male voice — it is not clear whose — can be heard uttering two expletives: “Fucking bitch.”

I listened to retired police officer (russian-american at that) who is pro-authority and he said that you don't put yourself in front of the car but if you do, then you should let it go if they merely try to leave. That is police procedure for that.
It's also just common sense. If the goal is to get the car to stop quickly before it runs you over, shooting the driver to death while their foot is still on the gas makes no more logical sense than it is ethically defensible. If the goal is a criminal conviction, the video would show intent to kill on the part of the driver. Jump out of the way like normal unintelligent human being, and then arrest them for attempted homicide. Playing with guns solved neither problem, endangered all parties, and opened the "officer" up to an accusation of murder.

That much is clear from the video itself. The fact that she was murdered for protesting the illegal actions of her government makes this situation worse, not better. That's part of what makes this unequivocally murder, and a threat to all of our rights, not just some sort of accident.

No fair, unbiased trial for him?
I thought you, like me, would be a fan of "innocent until proven guilty".
(But you have already decided his guilt it seems.)

Unless the video evidence is misleading, one would think a fair, unbiased trial of some manslaughter-like charge would resort in a guilty verdict.

“innocent until proven guilty “ is for the legal process. It ought to be clear from bilby’s post that he is expressing his expectation of the result of a fair, unbiased trial.

If you have not seen the video, your response seems less boneheaded than if you had seen it.

Worse is Noem claiming that it's been proven that Good tried to run the ICE agent over (when the videos demonstrate that that was almost certainly not the case) and then the FBI cutting the state out of the investigation.

Noem is a lying sack-o-shit just like her boss and she's doing everything she can to coverup this likely murder of Good by the ICE agent.

The state of Mn is continuing its investigation. If the federal gov’t has exculpatory evidence and wishes to withhold it, it is tough nuts for the ICE killer if charges are brought forward.

This statement doesn't sound like they expect to be able to have an investigation. They are just preserving evidence.

A Jan. 9 statement from Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans:

At this time, the BCA is not conducting a use-of-force incident investigation into the Jan 7 ICE-involved shooting that resulted in the death of Renee Nicole Good. As we've previously said, full access to evidence, witnesses and information is necessary to meet the investigative standard that Minnesota law and the public demands; without it, we cannot do so.

However, we have offered to provide limited assistance to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office with the collection, cataloging and preservation of video or other evidence related to the incident, with the goal being to preserve evidence so that it is not lost.

To be clear, the BCA will also provide this evidence to the FBI, as they are leading the investigation of the incident.

The BCA remains open to conducting a full investigation of the incident should the U.S. Attorney’s Office and FBI reconsider their approach and express a willingness to resume a joint investigation or to share all evidence and evidentiary reports held by FBI investigators.

So, if you are a federal agen you are effectively immune from state law as long as the feds decide to have your back.

Of course there should be. I specifically said so.
I thought you, like me, would be a fan of "innocent until proven guilty".
I am.
(But you have already decided his guilt it seems.)
I have - because the evidence I have seen is overwhelming and damning. But if a jury presented with the admissable facts in a court of law disagrees, then I would fine with that. Surprised, but fine.

The proem here is that it seems unlikely that any such trial will occur.

I thought you, like me, would be a fan of justice being done, and being seen to be done.

I like him because he tells it like it is.
When sombody (like my building manager) screws me, I swear at them, and they act like my swearing is the biger offense.
"... reject the evidence of your lieing eyes..."
Sombody in the admin used these exact words. (Sorry I don't remember who)
miss the windshield from point blank range,
Didn't miss the windsheld.
that woman was going to hit the ICE officer. It was self-defense.
He put himself in harm's way. Stepped in front to stop her.
Well, surely he will give up his own recording because presumably it will exonerate him, Right??
It has been reliesed. The shots are missing.
Noem is a lying sack-o-shit just like her boss
What do you expect from someone who killed her own dog because it wouldn't hunt.
