Nine thousand cases of child sexual exploitation are being reviewed by the Metropolitan Police, the force has confirmed. In a statement, the Met said it was reinvestigating the cases which involve "intra-familial, peer-on-peer and in institutional settings, along with those which do not fit the common understanding of a 'grooming gang'". Baroness Casey's report, the National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, also found a "mismatch" in the way the way the Metropolitan Police and local authorities record child abuse. Published in June, it found the ethnicity of people involved had been "shied away from" by authorities.

A dog walker who was knifed to death during a triple stabbing has been named - after it was revealed that the man suspected of killing him is an Afghan national who arrived in the UK in a lorry five years ago. Wayne Broadhurst, 49, died during the attack which left two other people injured on Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, in west London, at around 5pm on Monday. A 22-year-old Afghan, who remains unnamed, is being quizzed by police who are holding him on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Home Office officials confirmed that the suspect arrived in Britain illegally in 2020 and was granted leave to remain around two years later.

It appears to me that the real problem in the UK is the hatred of Muslims not crime by Muslims. The claims that Muslims have been committing lots of crime is totally unsubstantiated. Plus, the British government doesn't track crime based on religion. At least that's what the government site said when I tried to look up crime statistics based on religion. White males commit most of the violent crimes in the UK, just like in the US. No surprise.

The organisation, which describes itself as the leading agency on monitoring anti-Muslim hate crime, said it had documented a steep rise in offline incidents, with 3,680 cases reported - a 72% increase on the number two years ago.

The majority of the in-person cases were abusive behaviour, with Tell Mama also recording incidents of physical assault, discrimination and vandalism. Most of the attacks took place in public areas such as streets and parks, with a minority occurring in the workplace.

For the first time since Tell Mama's inception in 2012, more men than women were targeted by anti-Muslim hate and Islamophobia, the organisation said.

Tell Mama said that shift reflected "the deepening impact of harmful stereotypes that fuel societal divisions and reinforces false notions about Muslim identities".

Well, according to the research in the link, the BBC is the third most reliable, unbiased source of news in the world, surprisingly even better than my favorite, NYTimes. While The Daily Fail is popular it didn't make the top ten. I doubt it would make the top 100 as it's more like Fox and Fox on steroids, aka Newsmax.



The Internet is full of news sources that are full of hoaxes, politically motivated content, state-sponsored news, news controlled by corporations, Clickbaits, and fake stories.

Moreover reporters these days are beings forced by media agencies, news outlets, and their editors to report in a way that increases TRP and views, doesn’t matter if a few things don’t go on to explain things properly.

Due to the same reason, we need to consume information from unbiased news sources that report factual news.

lol, the BBC barely reports the weather accurately these days. Ultimately the BBC is a mouthpiece for the government these days. And it is totally biased in its reporting of certain things, particularly when it comes to islam and muslims and climate change.

It was such a rare event that it was considered newsworthy. Just because he was Afghan does that mean he was a Muslim? Maybe he was an (failed) asylum seeker because he wasn't Muslim. If you were caught committing a crime, would you be okay if the news called you a Christian? Maybe yes, as you would say you're a martyr for atheism, and the prison stats for Christians would be boosted.:rolleyes:
You know you have one thing right, the reliability of the BBC has been questioned in recent decades because it has pushed the Tory government line, such as being pro-Israeli and anti-Palestinian, mainly by indirect methods (not reporting some things, or minimizing them).

Not according to all the research I did yesterday. Sure, a few might be correct, but I read there are lots of unsubstantiated claims about crimes committed by immigrants, especially those of Arabic background in various fake news sources. I'm sure the Daily Mail is correct at times but so is a broken clock.
