Attorney: Stormy Daniels physically threatened

Trump's sueing Stormy for $20m? Sounds like a transaction worth making for some patriotic billionaire.

It's what Lincoln and Roosevelt would've done.

Little known fact: immediately following the Gettyburg address, Lincoln whipped out his johnson, put a miniature top-hot on it, and said, "And the South can suck this if they don't like it!" Of course, the statement was covered up by the deep state.

Anyway, I've heard Daniels' lawyer say she'd been physically threatened but not by whom. Is he saying he has proof that someone associated with Trump threatened her? If not, it could be any jack-off redhat making threats.

Has anyone mentioned that Stormy took a lie detector test regarding her claims about Trump and she scored 99% true. I know these tests are not always reliable, but considering that Trump has said in the past that he would be glad to take one himself, ya gotta love this! There's also another woman who has asked to be released from a nondisclosure agreement made by Trump. Gee. Why does Trump need all these nondisclosure agreements with women?

Point is that $20m is cheap to get rid of Trump. He thinks his business tactics can work just as well in Washington, so he assumes the threat of a $20m lawsuit will put Stormy in her place. But if she really has something on him suffiiciently discusting to cause all his defenders to walk away then there's plenty of people who would consider it a bargain price. And it's difficult to imagine there isn't.

I'd be happy for him to get $20m for this case, as long as he ends up in jail as the girlfriend of some 400lb brown/black guy. Maybe Ben Carson?

Lie detector tests are zero percent reliable. The ONLY way they "work" is if those taking them believe that the test works, and that if they lie they will be caught out, and so choose to tell the truth.

Now, now. The results of this lie detector test are bad for Trump, whom we're against. Therefore via the transitive property, our opinion is that the results of this lie detector test are scientifically valid and we do not consider it to be completely irrelevant and meaningless.

A little perspective, from Fox and Friends.
Martin Van Buren boasted of "catching hold of wenches by the pudenda."
Chester Arthur paid off several porn actresses (of the stage).
Truman publicly referred to Westbrook Pegler as "that google-eyed son of a bitch".
Where is the outrage about that?????

Reminds me of this Homicide Life on the Streets episode.

Here is the deal, why would she take one. No one doubts she is telling the truth, right? No one cares either. The issue is potential harassment and how the pay off was made.

Martin Van Buren: DEAD
Chester Arthur: DEAD
Truman: DEAD
Trump: NOT DEAD

THAT is the outrage.

It doesn't matter if they work. It's all about the perception. What matters is that she was willing to take the test. The fact that she was willing to take the test is all that matters. It gives the impression that she is being truthful.

I guess we'll have to wait until "60 Minutes" airs tomorrow to see what other evidence she and her lawyer are willing to share.

People do dumb things. Maybe Daniels and her lawyer are doing something dumb. Maybe Trump is the dumb one here. I like the soap opera, though I wish all that attention and energy was better focused, maybe on things meaningful and constructive. People like their stupid.

Maybe Trump is the dumb one here.

When is he the smart one ever? No, seriously, when has he said something intelligent or insightful? The best I can think of is when Trump has caught up with everybody else ("healthcare is so hard"), but that's about it.

Saying something dumb and doing something dumb are different things. I meant dumb in the active sense, like he had an affair, covered it up and regrets it.

The dumb things people say is kinda just entertainment to me. Yes, I'd like to see Trump become more statesmanlike in his speech, display some empathy and intellect same as most folks, but that's never going to happen.

Trump - and everyone else - will get a clue tonight about whether or not Avenatti has hard evidence of a physical threat against Stormy should she decline to consent to the NDA. If they sense that it's a hollow threat, the Trump team will continue to clam up about it. The fact of Trump's philandering lifestyle is already baked into voter preferences, so if that's all there is, they can ignore it. But if they think Avenatti has proof of that physical threat, and that Trump had something to do with it, it's probably time for a preemptive strike on Korea, Lichtenstein or someone.

I don't think it's going to be the big deal people are hoping it's going to be. She hasn't been very forthcoming so far and is still bound by the agreement to keep quiet, at least until the agreement has been deemed null by the courts. I'll be very happy to be mistaken though.
