A woman filed a federal lawsuit in New York on Monday alleging that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump raped her in 1994 before threatening to harm her and her family if she talked, the Gothamist reported.
According to the woman, identified in court documents as “Jane Doe,” she met Trump at several parties in the Upper East Side thrown by billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s.

The suit alleges Trump and Epstein lured the then 13-year-old and several other young women to the parties with promises of modeling careers and cash.

Well, this is going to be interesting. Will the right wingers who have been resurrecting charges Bill Clinton was a rapist shut up now?
 
The timing is suspicious. This sort of stuff isn't in season until after Labor Day.

The suit was thrown out on a technicality back in what '94? I don't understand why it wasn't restarted.
 
Politics can be a hard, cruel game. Anybody with something like this lurking in their past should expect it to surface again when they run. The question is, will this story have legs? Will it take off? Will it be ignored?
Will it take down Trump? Its going to be fascinating to see how this ball bounces.

I have no problem believing Trump would do such a thing. However, the evidence as presented raises more questions about allegations themselves than potential guilt.
 
The problem is, is there more? Could this dribble out at length sort of like the Bill Cosby stuff? It may very well be a case that worrying about something like that may give a lot of delegates in Cleveland an extra prod to dump Trump. Will more of the alleged girls come forward? This could get bizarre.

Probably not. Trump has been in the spotlight forever, and somebody would have squawked by now.
 
This has been brewing for about a month now and it hasn't really gotten much traction from the mainstream press. And one has to think that if there were something to it, then the media would be going apeshit right now.

The Dems need a Trump-esque person to come out and say, "I heard that Donald Trump raped a 13 year-old. I don't know if that's true, it's just what I've been told."

As for anything about Bill, the right has started so many rumors about him that until they actually produce something, I'll take it with a grain of salt. But that Trump; I don't know that he rapes 13 year-olds. That's just what they're saying.

Yes, and the scrutiny doesn't just stop at the candidate, all of his friends will be scrutinized too.

Yah, but since he likes to play the tabloid game, the New York Post is going to having a busy 6 months.

He has denied the allegations, unlike Glen Beck.

Well, that denial came out suspiciously quickly then. Why is he trying so hard to kill the story before people get a chance to look into it?

Well someone's certainly straining to throw suspicion onto Trump. How long have you been frequenting Jeffrey Epstein's parties, and where were you in 1994?
