Yes, I watch what used to be MSNBC fairly often. But not so much since it has been watering down its criticisms of King Donald.
The talking heads piss me off when they state as fact, shit like:

“Donald Trump believes the 2020 election was stolen”
“The President thinks the SAVE act will make elections more secure.”
Etc etc ad nauseum.
That is unforgivable bullshit IMHO.

DONALD TRUMP KNOWS PERFECTLY WELL THAT HE LOST IN 2020.
AND HE KNOWS THE “SAVE ACT” IS STRAIGHT UP VOTER SUPPRESSION.

I am over this crap, and do not understand why they misrepresent such obvious truth. How hard could it be to say “Donald Trump SAYS he believes…”?
Is stating plain facts against some domestic major media code of compliance, is it journalistic laziness, stupidity, or what?
I don’t get it.
 
A lot of language is decided at the top level. Example: war vs excursion vs intervention. We do not observe those decision-making meetings directly.

Seems very obviously plausible to me, I haven't seen any smoking gun evidence that the election was actually stolen though.

Yes, and he is fairly straightforward, much maligned by Trump for his content and of course, his appearance. And he’s not the only one. But the general tenor of the channel is still questioning the administration in a deferential, polite manner rather than saying it like it is. To me it feels as if they are conceding territory.

It is rational to be disturbed by this shit.
If our current plight only comes to light to people via comedy, I don’t think that should mute the response, which is what matters.

Trump will try to calm the waters with oil, which his uncle from MiT told him would smooth things out. People need to stay riled up until November.
 
Ali Velshi's weekend programs are going to be taken over by Jacob Soboroff (Sp?) and Ali will be replacing Stephanie Ruhl on the 11th Hour program on weeknights in the near future.

As far as MS Now people pulling punches, I have not seen that. These people are respectable journalists. Not comedians or YT commentators.

If you want a little comedy and not pulled punches, I recommend The Stephanie Miller Show on Free Speech TV at 9 am eastern. There is an FSTV app that will work on most any smart tv. FSTV is definitely a lefty progressive network. If you cannot watch live you can watch recordings on the FSTV website.

The only one I watch on MS NOW is Ari Melber. I love Ari. He's very smart, and has no problem telling the truth. His show is on at 6PM Monday through Friday. it's called "The Beat". I put Morning Joe on in the morning, but don't pay too much attention to it. Still, former Republican Joe Scarborough has no problem blasting Trump for all his lies and the Republicans for all their cowardice. MS NOW is planning on becoming totally independent, hopefully by the summer. Let me see if I can find more info on that and post it.

I like Ari. My favorites are Lawrence O'Donnell and Rachel Maddow, then comes Ali Velshi.

I'm glad to see that. I was very afraid that when NBC split it, they were going to sell it and it would be taken over by another right wing asshole to spew more rightwing bullshit.
 
I believe all the on-air people are well enough intended, and can be as blunt with naked truth as the medium makes possible. Most of their field reporters are less bold,
and even those people who “have shows” get sloppy about the minutiae about which I am complaining. It’s a very annoying reminder of a recent insidious, asymmetrical perversion of our very language.

The US doesn't have an appreciable left wing. The US version of Socialist or Communist parties are insignificant to the point of total irrelevance.

On the other hand, the right wing, which used to be the conservative side of politics, has strayed so far into fascism, what was once middle of the road moderate politics, it's now considered left wing.

Been doing it for years. Not because ‘real’ news is biased but because it has largely veered into opinionating rather than conveying information with some context, egos left off stage .

Mostly I read news though. Stewart and Colbert and Oliver often give me directions to look more…
