What I find quite out of this world is that Trump is stepping in the largest pile of dogshit the US has stepped in since Vietnam... and this admin still has time for the meddling in NCAA, Alcatraz, and other remarkably banal bullshit. Again, either a sign we are not having elections again and/or this is the absolutely worst and most deluded Admin in US history.

WASHINGTON—Seeking revenge for her abrupt termination, on Saturday former Attorney General Pam Bondi released a trove of naked photos of Donald J. Trump on Jeffrey Epstein’s island.

The photos, showing a nude Trump frolicking in the Caribbean enclave, are “not for the squeamish,” experts warned.

In a brief official statement, Bondi said of the photos, “Oopsy, I guess I forgot to redact these.”

She added that Trump should have expected her to retaliate, noting, “Much like his war against Iran, he didn’t think this through.”

She would be admitting she committed obstruction and aiding after the fact. Offer her immunity for her honest testimony might put that over the top.

I truly doubt that honest testimony is within her ability. Of course she could deliver a promise, but she’s simply not an honest player, obviously.

An excerpt provided to CBC News includes conversations between Hardman and the president where Trump brought up his interest in taking over Greenland.

"I replied that this would probably destroy NATO and, while we were on the subject, could he please leave Canada alone too," Hardman wrote. The two men spoke in December last year in Florida.

"It had been a staunch ally through history, a gallant D-Day partner and attempting to acquire it would undoubtedly make the King of Canada unhappy," Hardman added.

According to Hardman's recounting of the conversation, Trump paused at that note and asked the British journalist whether Canada still recognized King Charles as its head of state.

"Do they still recognize the King? Or have they stopped that?" Trump said, according to Hardman.

Those were the generals that were recently fired.
 
Honestly, I'm worried about Trump, and not in the usual "Orange Man Bad" sort of way.

His actions over the last couple months have been completely at odds with his in-office actions previous. He didn't rise through the ranks like other politicians had, and therefore didn't learn to love war the way other politicians had. He was generally uninterested in war, but liked to brag every time he got two countries to make peace. He claimed as his greatest achievement arranging the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which although messy in implementation is something I think was a good thing.

In the last few months he did a military strike in Venezuela and a bombing campaign in Iran. This is not normal for him.
