George Zimmerman Arrested On Domestic Violence And Weapons Charge

He's not making a racial argument at all. We are saying we think Trayvon started it because of the culture he was in, not because of his race.

And the difference being?

You can't tell the difference between culture and race???

No. Please tell us what the difference is.

Race = genetics.

Culture = ideas.

Rather than go into a detailed discussion about the definition(s) of race, here's the Wiki link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(human_classification)

I also won't go into any detailed discussion about your working definition of culture but I will ask exactly what makes you believe that Martin in such a way by people who would have taught him to be aggressive in any confrontation? How does the upbringing that Martin received (raised by divorced parents who both cared about him and who took an active part in his life) differ from the upbringing of most young people today?

That silly idea again "oh please, young skinheaded man who saw me, stared at me angrily talking on the phone as I walked by, creeped behind me in his car, got out of the car and continued to follow my black ass when I ran somewhere you couldn't run, and refuses to identify or explain yourself, please come over to where the only other person at home is 14." Why *anyone* would consider this a wise idea is entirely besides me.

But that's all he had to do was keep walking home, walk inside and lock the door. He had the other option of calling 911 and reporting the behavior if he thought it was that bad. Walks home, locks the door and we never hear about Martin or Zimmerman.
No problem, he can call 911. Then what? Does the creepy suddenly say,"well we'll just sit down and have a spot of tea." I won't harm you until the police arrive to witness it.

The part of walking home and locking the door is silly as Trayvon obviously didn't have that option.

Loren's allegations that Martin had robbed homes in the neighborhood = grossly unsubstantiated.

I've noticed that you continue to skip my requests for you to explain exactly what "culture" you think Trayvon was from. So let's use your *definition* of "culture = ideas", and you tell me exactly what "ideas" Trayvon had and how they relate to being killed by Zimmerman.

What ideas are you referring to?

He sees the guy in the car watching him and he calls 911 and then they both describe what the other person is doing and the dispatcher says just keep walking and head home and an officer will meet you in a few minutes at your house to check him out. The police figure everything out.

Still waiting for the description of Martin's "culture". I wonder if this is the same culture that drives "all blacks to lie to back up another black's story".

And we know Zimmerman follows the instructions of a dispatcher, so Trayvon has no fear for his safety and can proceed without fear of anything.

Ah yes... the entire world is the victim's responsibility. Zimmerman called 911, was told to chill out, but he didn't.

...and what do we learn from this? Martin should have called 911 and listened to their advice.

Here's another trend developing - remember that glass table that he claimed she smashed in a rage? Well, after the bottle he smashed, and the iPad that we saw him smash, well...he seems to be violent with and against objects as well.

I think I can guess why his wife Shelly wants permanent custody of the dogs...

I do agree we don't handle punishment correctly. That has no bearing on the issue, though.

No, the issue here is a guy with a long history of violence and aggression, who somehow has people representing him.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Mumbles again.

And any glassware.

Domestic violence normally takes away guns. His guns haven't been taken away--that says to me the allegations aren't standing up to scrutiny.

You continue to refuse to answer the very simple question of what is Trayvon's "culture" - the one you insist has nothing whatsoever to do with the color of his skin. That says to me that your allegations about Trayvon aren't standing up to scrutiny.

And I still have my driver's license therefore I have never driven over the speed limit. :rolleyes:

How do you know he didn't just go out and buy more? Or pick up something from the stash I am sure he keeps? Or get something *gasp* illegal. Or from any one of the numerous gun rights groups who see him as a hero?

Yes they have. He's also been given a restraining order for the entire county where this incident took place.

Yeah, because the law never ever makes mistakes, nor errs on the side of presumed innocence. And the sons of judges and buddies of police officers never ever get any kind of preferential treatment under the law. And recent increases in the price of bacon reflect the difficulty of capturing animals in mid-flight.

Homicide violence usually takes away liberty. He is not in prison--doubtless that says to you that he is innocent of killing Martin, but others recognise a circular argument when they see one, and are less convinced.

OBAMA!!! :angryfist:

It really is hard for me to believe this obviously troubled man with self-control issues can still have defenders.
